Spring Arrives and winter news

Here at Devil's it feels like it has been a long winter with high water and poor conditions. But this hasn't stopped alot of things happening down on the river. Both men's and ladies squads trained hard for various events and the ladies did manage a good showing in Head of the river. Sadly the men's race was called off due to the conditions.
Numbers have grown a little over the cold months as have the number of boats, with a little kindness from fellow local clubs we now have a good fleet of boats for use. So with a little tender care these will keep us in good shape over the coming years.
Other honourable mentions are to our ladies captain who has been chosen to row the Queens Barge "The Gloriana" so congratulations Nic!!! Proud times for our little club.
With the weather now alot more settled and a plethora of boat to pick from the whole club is gearing up for races at Leicester, Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and Peterborough in the coming months!
Good luck to all and watch this space for further updates
